Terms and Conditions & Eligibility

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. All images included for use in the RIAS Directory are either owned by <the Practice> or <the Practice> has written permissions to use the images on the RIAS Directory and/or across social media from the photographer or owner of the images.

2. We understand that any liability for breaches of copyright rests entirely with <the Practice>.

3. The copyright in all RIAS Directory entries shall belong to the <the Practice> or alternatively shall be the subject of a licence in favour of <the Practice> and <the Practice> hereby indemnifies the PUBLISHER (The RIAS) against any claim, damage or expenses arising from any claim for breach of copyright in respect of any image used in the RIAS Directory entry for <the Practice>.

4. All text used in the RIAS Directory to describe <the Practice> is accurate and truthful.

5. <the Practice> must have permission from their client to include their client’s project and the information presented.

6. <the Practice> consents to the digital reproduction of the RIAS Directory with their Directory entry in it, which may be used on the RIAS Website and promoted across social media.

7. RIAS Directory entries published by the RIAS are deemed to be warranted by <the Practice> not to be in contravention of the Trade Descriptions Act 1968, the Sex Discrimination Act 1978 and 1986 or the Race Relations Act 1976 (together referred to as ‘the legislation’).

8. Amounts specified for payment in this Agreement are stated exclusive of Value Added Tax which will be payable at the prevailing rate.

ELIGIBILITY

Private Practices Eligibility:

1. <the Practice> is an architectural practice whose chief activity is architectural design.

2. <the Practice> confirms that there are at least 20% of RIAS members amongst the ARB registered architects working in the practice across all the offices.

3. at least 1 RIAS member within <the Practice> is in a position of senior management.

In-house or Multi-Disciplinary Practices Eligibility:

1. Your main business is architecture,

2. If the practice/office is a division of a larger organisation, please provide evidence that it is constituted as a separate entity: i.e., a separate name or marketing/promotion of the practice's services as distinct from those of the parent company or separate financial statements/audit.

3. <the Practice> confirms that 20% of all professionals across the organisation are RIAS members,

4. <the Practice> confirms that one of the RIAS members is in a Partner/Board level/Director role.

Local Authority and Local Government Practices Eligibility

1. at least one member is in a position of senior management,

2. at least 20% of RIAS members amongst the ARB registered architects in the practice/office,

3. each office will be considered separately.
